Cameo Orchestra Appearance
Posted on October 10, 2010
Sunday 10 October at the RNCM saw the latest session of Manchester Camerata’s Cameo Orchestra which aims to give an unique opportunity to give players of all ages and abilities a flavour of professional performance.
Sunday’s event was led by one of this country’s most experienced orchestral leaders, Richard Howarth, who directed proceedings, assisted by clarinettist Lenny Sayers, who is often involved in Camerata’s projects.
Cameo Orchestra is open to players of all ages and abilities, and is unique in giving all the players the opportunity to experience truly great orchestral repertoire, guided by musicians who have played these works at the highest level. As always though, the main objective was to make friends and have fun and we had a brilliant day! |
