Manchester Camerata 19/20 season is here!
Baked into the DNA of Manchester Camerata is the spirit of free-thinking creators and collaborators coming together in friendship, and the pioneering approaches borne out of this idea have become our calling card. After almost half a century, our commitment to this approach remains adamantine.
It is a fantastic time to be creating art in this city, there is innovation, investment and inspiration around every corner. As ‘the city’s experimental orchestra’ (Manchester Evening News), we are privileged to be ambassadors for our wonderful artform in amongst a sea of such wonderful creativity. Knowing how precious your time is, we have decided to keep this communication very brief. This coming season, we promise you some of the best live performances you have ever witnessed, some of the most emotive experiences and we are going to contribute meaningfully to the community that we love so dearly.
Helping us to fulfil these promises will be some titans of history, such as Mozart, Gospel gurus AMC Choir, Electronic genius Sven Helbig and even a celestial body. As ever we will be working with some of the most exciting young musicians in the country including Folk heroes Kabantu, Violinist Hugo Ticciati and Classical Brit Winner Jess Gillam.
