Camerata Reaches Big Arts Give Target
Posted on December 10, 2010
Manchester Camerata is delighted to announce that it has exceeded its fundraising target of £15,000 through the Big Arts Give campaign!
The total today stands at £16,620 but donations are still very welcome. |
As those of you who have donated will know, donations towards the Big Arts Give are doubled and will go towards a very special concert taking place in the orchestra’s 40th anniversary year entitled Classical Digital.
This concert will feature a number of world firsts including a commission from young composer Emily Howard for chamber orchestra and Town Hall bells. We are also delighted that we will be delivering this event as part of Manchester’s 2012 Future Everything Festival and with assistance from the fantastic Manchester Digital Development Agency. |
Manchester Camerata’s Development Manager Matt Freeman said, “We are thrilled with the result and very grateful to everyone who made a donation. We now look forward to putting on one of the orchestra’s most ambitious concerts to date in its anniversary year!”
