‘Composer in Residence’ Call
Posted on March 16, 2011
As part of Sound and Music’s new artist development programme, Embedded, Manchester Camerata has created an opportunity for up to two composers to spend a season ‘in residence’ with the ensemble. During the 2011/12 season the composers will have the opportunity to interact closely with the players and staff, initially observing the group in action before creating work for specific contexts as part of Camerata’s Portraits 2011/12 season with the support of a specially selected mentor. Composers will have the opportunity to participate in the group’s inspiring and innovative outreach projects.
