Arts Council England Funding Announcement　

We are delighted to announce that Manchester Camerata has been accepted as an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation for 2012-15. Our award represents a decrease in real terms of 11% over the next 3 years which is in line with most other NPO orchestras in England.

We would like to thank ACE for their continuing support in such a tough economic climate and for the recognition that Camerata is delivering concerts and learning work of a consistently high standard.

With less money overall, the years ahead will undoubtedly present some challenges, particularly with the added uncertainty of local authority funding. We are, however, determined to do all we can to sustain and develop our progressive and ambitious programme of activity across the northwest region and beyond.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank our audiences, patrons and partners, without whom Manchester Camerata would cease to exist. Their support remains crucial in the years ahead.
