Creative Summer Dreams Workshops for Doncaster Primary Schools

| Seven Primary Schools across Doncaster will be taking part in exciting half-day workshops from 16th-25th May which will creatively explore scenes from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream using music. |
| Sessions will be led by professional composer Eve Harrison and Camerata musician Zoe Long and will develop skills in language, creative writing, composition and performance. Pupils will explore the text and characters of the play as an inspiration for the creation of a new piece of music which they will share in an informal performance at the end of their sessions. |
| These workshops will be linked to Camerata’s ‘Summer Dreams’ concert on 26 May at the Civic Theatre, Doncaster where the orchestra will perform a narrated version of Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. |
