The four groups from Warrington Collegiate, Riverside College, UCE Academy and South Cheshire College are currently working with a Camerata composer, dramatist and musicians to write the opera, which explore the causes and consequences of road traffic collisions involving young people. The piece will be informed by real life stories to explain the impact on passengers and drivers, passers-by, families and emergency service personnel that attend these incidents.

Members of Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service are also part of the workshops, to provide an insight into road collisions and how they are dealt with.

The final performance, which will incorporate multi-media, large scale props and firefighting equipment, will take place at the Lyceum Theatre in Crewe on Thursday 25 February to an audience of fellow students, friends and family.
