Manchester Camerata and The Bridgewater Hall invite you to an exciting interactive schools concert…

Exploring Haydn&sthrilling Symphony No.44, pupils will learn about thedifferent instruments of the orchestra, explore the contrasting rhythmic elementsof the piece and evencreate their own lyricsto accompany Haydn&s melodies, bringing the piece to life!Conducted by Camerata&s world class Musical Director, G&abor Tak&acs-Nagy, and presented by composer Andy Smith, the concert will be a great way to introduce pupils to classical music in a fun and engaging way. Children at previous concerts have relished the opportunity to watch one of the country&s leading chamber orchestras in the magnificent setting of The Bridgewater Hall.

How to Book

Tickets are only £1 each and all attending schools will receive a free teacher&s pack introducing Haydn&s life and music, which provides an excellent resource to extend children&s learning beyond their visit. The concert is aimed at Key Stage 2 and you are welcome to book as many places as you wish, whether one class or your entire junior school!

Tickets will be allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis so make sure to book early to avoid disappointment! All schools who book before Christmas will be entered into a special prize draw to win back the cost of tickets for one class, or to enjoy a half-day session with an artist creating ornaments to decorate The Bridgewater Hall.
