This night promises to be one of the most riotous shows of the year as we join forces once more with the duo from Manchester, local heroes Prose. This two piece have already made huge waves in the Manchester music scene because of their unique fusion of hip hop, acoustic guitars and beats. As if that wasn’t enough they also decided to work with an orchestra – “Probably Britain’s most adventurous orchestra” (The Times). Last year Band on the Wall could hardly contain the energy in the room when we collaborated onstage and tonight sees us take this to one of the best venues in Manchester – Club Academy. By Train:
The Nearest station to Academy 2 is Manchester Oxford Road, which is a short bus ride away or a 15-minute walk (0.9 miles).
If arriving at Piccadilly station, you can get a bus to the Student Union from the central bus station at Piccadilly Gardens, or the venue is a 30 min walk away.
By Coach:
From Manchester Coach Station you can get a bus to the university from Portland Street, bus numbers in the 40s will go towards the university, alternatively Club Academy is a 25-minute walk (1.2 miles).
By Car:

Where to Eat/Drink:
Bar and restaurant Big Hands is situated next to the academy with tasty items on the menu such as pizza and nachos with a large selection of alcoholic and soft beverages. The menu is also well suited for vegetarians.
Kro Bar is located just opposite The Academy, a trendy bar/restaurant with a Danish flavour, plus a beer garden and live music.
