Beethoven 6 & Mahler Concert – Audience review

I am delighted that recordings (of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 and Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde) will be available. I’ll be buying. And telling friends to buy tickets and CDs. I knew the 6th only from recordings – to hear it played live was magnificent. The colour, cadences, brilliants, dynamics, tempos were revelatory. Glorious. – Damian Entwistle
