Antony and the Johnsons Review, BBC
Posted on July 8, 2009
Antony and the Johnsons’ performance with the Manchester Camerata at the Manchester International Festival was an 11 out of ten, according to reviewer Risa Hall.
The Chichester-born, New York-based musician performed new arrangements of his award-winning songs with the 36 piece Camerata, backed by a spectacular light show at the Opera House.
Risa Hall, a New York musician now based in Manchester, reviewed the show for BBC Radio Manchester.
“His performance was ten – eleven, as they say in Spinal Tap.”
