Manchester Camerata is seeking three people to join its small and busy team as Interns.  Each contract lasts for six months and you’d be expected to work for three days a week.

CONCERTS INTERN

We’re looking for someone who will work closely with the Head of Artistic Planning and Orchestra Manager, assisting with the administration and implementation of concert planning and other work undertaken by the department. The Concerts Internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of orchestral administration and would be ideal for anyone hoping to pursue a career within arts administration.

MARKETING INTERN

The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing Manager and liaise with other members of the department as appropriate, working as part of an energetic, busy and creative team. The Marketing Internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of orchestral marketing.

LEARNING AND PARTICIAPTION INTERN

You’ll be working alongside the Head of Learning and Participation helping with the organisation and running of  projects and other work undertaken by the department. The Learning and Participation Internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of orchestral administration, with a particular emphasis on our Learning and Participation (education) programme.

Closing date for all the posiitons is Monday 23 August 2010. Interviews will be in the week commencing 30 August 2010.
