New Year’s Eve Gala – Friday 31 December 8.00pm
Experience the glitz and glamour of New Year’s Eve at The Bridgewater Hall with a very special red carpet welcome, pre-concert foyer entertainment and a musical extravaganza. Enjoy an evening of Italian opera favourites sung by Welsh singers Natalya Romaniw and charismatic tenor Wynne Evans, and a Last Night of the Proms finale. To make your evening complete, pre-concert dining options are available from 5.30pm. New Year’s Day Viennese Gala – Saturday 1 January 3.00pm This New Year’s Day experience a concert that will fizz like champagne on a crisp January morning in Vienna with Manchester Camerata, one of the UK’s leading chamber orchestras. Enjoy an uplifting afternoon of Viennese delights with waltzes, polkas and songs suitable for all the family to enjoy. Stunning young soprano Katherine Broderick and exciting conductor Geoffrey Paterson will jointly present this programme which is not to be missed.
