Camerata Return to Crewe

They will be presenting a classic combination of popular works by Mozart and Haydn including the witty Farewell Symphony, which was Haydn’s musical hint to his employer that his musicians should be allowed to go home after a long summer residency.
This concert also features two energetic works by Bartók and Australian composer Peter Sculthorpe, which both make extensive use of folk tunes.
