Candlelit Camerata at UKFast

Manchester Camerata is commited to breaking out of the concert hall and delivery high quality music making to audiences wherever they may be. This week found Camerata 30 storeys up, and playing against the stunning backdrop of the Manchester skyline as guests of UKFast – one of the country’s premier web hosting companies.

UKFast has hosted Manchester Camerata’s website since 2009 and has sponsored some of the orchestra’s principal events. UKFast is responsible for hosting more than 350,000 domain names on the internet, with clients that include Barclays, UKTV and News International.
The company’s founder Lawrence Jones became a member of Manchester Camerata’s board in May 2010.
In 2007 Lawrence Jones became the Institute of Directors’ Young Director of the Year for Manchester; in 2008 UKFast won the MEN Business of the Year Award. The organisation has also appeared in the Best Companies list for two years running – in 2009 and 2010.
