DIRECTOR – Malcolm Hurrell

Manchester Camerata has a strong team of directors who play a crucial role in guiding the business of the orchestra at a particularly challenging time.  They oversee the development of policy, strategy and operations – underpinning the orchestras sense of purpose and direction. They work closely with the Artistic Team to manage and develop the company helping to make it one of the most exciting and forward thinking music organisations in the country.

Malcolm is Director of New Mindsets Ltd, a business providing executive coaching, leadership development and HR mentoring to all sectors.

He was previously Vice-President Human Resources UK, AstraZeneca where he helped determine the global HR strategy whilst running a large shared services HR organisation supporting all UK HR operations.

Malcolm has an Education degree from Durham.  He is married to Barbara, with two teenage children and enjoys all sports, music, theatre and gardening.
