Jonathan Moulds Given Honorary Life Patronage By Manchester Camerata
Posted on May 12, 2017
We know first-hand just how much the Arts need its advocates, its defenders and its champions. That’s why we have chosen to honour a very special supporter of ours – Jonathan Moulds. As the CEO of Bank of America Merrill Lynch for 15 years and Group Chief Operating Officer at Barclays Jonathan has come to be highly respected amongst the business community and uses this influence to benefit the arts sector.
Jonathan has a long history with Manchester Camerata, overseeing sizeable donations to support our community work and to ensure that we continue our mission to reach underserved communities in the region and beyond. As a native Northerner this is something that he is very passionate about – as are we.
As one of the foremost collectors of stringed instruments in the world, we were thrilled to be the recipient of Jonathan’s patronage when he gave us an extended loan of a 1752 Guadagnini, currently used by our leader Adi Brett.
Manchester Camerata are proud to have a special bond with one of the UK’s leading arts philanthropists that shares our aims and ambitions for the future. This is why we have decided to honour Jonathan Moulds with our honorary life patronage award, which comes with our heartfelt thanks.
