The Camerata Stage Experience
Posted on September 17, 2015
What does it feel like sitting in the midst of a professional orchestra playing at full throttle? Ten lucky audience members will find out on 26 September as we invite you to sit in the thick of the action with the orchestra as they perform Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony at The Bridgewater Hall.
We’re constantly looking for new ways to bring our audiences closer to the music, and as such, we’re giving you the chance to experience the orchestra at the closest possible quarters…
How To Apply
Stage Experience tickets are available on a first come, first served basis by calling The Bridgewater Hall Box Office on 0161 907 9000 or visiting in person. Simply buy your concert ticket as you would normally (you’ll need this for the first half) but also request a Stage Experience ticket at the same time (not available online), which is included in the price.
If you’ve already got your concert ticket but would also like a Stage Experience ticket, contact the box office and (subject to availability) they will issue you with one.
The Stage Experience: What to Expect
Stage Experience ticket holders will be seated on stage during the second half of the concert (Beethoven’s Sixth Symphony), taking their seats as normal for the first half of the concert. The second half should last approximately 40 minutes.
At the start of the interval, Stage Experience ticket holders should meet at the Manchester Camerata Welcome Desk adjacent to the Stalls Bar. You will then be escorted back stage to a dressing room where belongings can be stored for the duration of the second half. Bottled water and toilet facilities will also be available. You will be given a briefing before going on stage so you know what to expect.
Enjoy!
