Up Close with Manchester Camerata – Experience Music Differently |
Connect with music in a laid back and contemporary environment, mingle with musicians and wind witha drink. Experience an eclectic montage of sounds written by composers inspired by deeply emotional events in their lives, performed by Manchester Camerata’s world-class musicians.
UpClose performances showcase a new collaboration with artist John Hyatt, exploring links between music and visual art. In November, escape the outside chill as we wrap you in the warm and luscious music of some of the great Romantic composers, whilst in February experience a collision of cultures in a fiery fusion of tango and klezmer. Directed by our exuberant leader, young Venezuelan Italian violinist Giovanni Guzzo, alongside our dynamic musicians, you will experience passion and artistry at close quarters in intimate venues.
