This great celebration of brass music from the 15th century to the present day promises to be an atmospheric and fun evening. From Monteverdi to Mozart, Bach to Karl Jenkins and Rossini to Fats Waller there will be something to suit every musical taste, with some amusing anecdotes thrown in for good measure!

To make it an evening to remember why not enjoy the delights of a meal in the two local pubs, the Ram’s Head and the Parr Arms beforehand, but leave plenty of time and book in advance. There will even be an extended interval (45 minutes) so the audience can go and get drinks and/or desserts from the two pubs.

The pretty village of Grappenhall with the lovely St Wilfrid’s Church is a beautiful venue for the concert. The church even has comfy upholstered seats not hard pews! To take a look at the church visit the website here. Grappenhall is 5 minutes from the motorway intersection of the M56 and M6 and 30 minutes from Manchester city centre.
