Manchester Camerata return with their charismatic leader Giovanni Guzzo as soloist in this programme featuring one of the most famous and well-loved of all classical works, Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Piazzolla’s The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires takes inspiration from Vivaldi, incorporating jazz and Argentinian tango into a work full of luscious harmonies and punchy, earthy folk rhythms.
