Date: Thursday 06th February 2014 13:30

Venue: Coronation Hall, Ulverston

Join Manchester Camerata for a vibrant schools concert, specifically created for Key Stage 2. The performance will take children on an interactive journey through Mahler’s arrangement of the thrillingDeath and the Maiden by Franz Schubert, complete with singing and rhythm games.

The concert will be a fun and engaging way to introduce pupils to classical music, all in the wonderful surroundings of Ulverston&s Coronation Hall. A teacher&s pack is also available for participating schools.

In addition to being an excellent learning opportunity, this is a fantastic chance for the children to be inspired by a professional orchestra performing live, directed by the dynamic Italian/Venezuelan violinist Giovanni Guzzo.
