Mozart Flute Concerto – Doncaster

Manchester Camerata takes us on a journey through the vivid and colourful world of Mozart concertos this season. For the opening concert, Principal Flautist Kevin Gowland treats us to a performance of Mozart&s much loved Flute Concerto no.1. Two British string masterpieces also feature, Vaughan Williams& folk-immersed Five Variants for Strings and Harp, and Elgar&s beautifully melodic Chanson de Matin et de Nuit. Haydn&s Symphony no.101, known famously as The Clock after the ticking rhythm in the slow movement, completes the programme.
