A passionate love story in a timeless setting. At the centre of it all stands the beautiful Violetta, the courtesan who finds true love in Alfredo Germont. Will the infamous parties continue? Or will they be forced to sacrifice their happiness to the hypocrisy of high society?
Verdi’s glorious music and an elegant new staging from Director Christopher Luscombe promises an evening of high emotion. A new production for NHO designed by Simon Higlett (Singing in the Rain), orchestral partner Manchester Camerata performs under the baton of young British talent Jonathan Bloxham.
