Tinderbox

Date: Thursday 21st November 2013 14:30

Venue: Chester Cathedral, Chester

Manchester Camerata will be working in three Chester primary schools (Chester Blue Coat; Lache and Belgrave) this month on an exciting project called ‘Tinderbox&, in association with Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Philip Barker Charity.

More than one hundred people of all ages, including firefighters, University of Chester teacher training students, Camerata artists and the three Chester schools, will form the cast to create and perform a powerful story of how antisocial behaviour in the city can have devastating and lasting consequences for others. The new piece aims to spread and share the hard hitting messages of fire safety awareness in your community.

We would like to invite you to watch the special performance for free and witness an artistic collaboration between children and professionals from the worlds of music and theatre.
